Minot High School placed second in the Class A North Dakota Cheer Championship held Nov. 12 in Fargo.
Members of the Magician cheer team were Alexsea Davis, Courtney Dixon, Katie Grytza, Briahnna Johnson, Brittany Krone, Breken Lach, Hayley Lashley, Cheyenne Marcellais, Karisa Martin, Olivia Molina, Shelby Nelson, Emily Prock, Julie Rasanen, Cassie Stauffer, Hannah Streccius and Kourtney Wehrman.
Brittany Krone was the Class A individual champion; Julie Rasanen was the runner up in the Class A Jump Off; Katie Grytza and Breken Lach won the NDCCA Senior Awards; Alex Scott was the Minot Choreographer award and Carly Leffelman, Aubree Thornton and Angela Speiser were the coaches.

Bishop Ryan High School placed second in the Class B category, behind Velva. Team members were Kelsey Halvorson, Abby Howard, Megan Hardy, Kasey Chorlton, Meagan Behm, Marina Kallias, Kacey Donamaria, Catherine Nelson, Katy Larcombe and Samantha Blessum.
Ryan won the stunt group competition. Team members were Katy Larcombe, Samantha Blessum, Marina Kallias, Catherine Nelson and Kasey Donamaria. Marina Kallias finished second in the Class B Jump Off. Ryan's team is coached by Katie Reiter.
