Mont. man injured in motorcycle rollover in N.D.
A 48-year-old Cut Bank, Mont., man was injured Saturday when he rolled his motorcycle near Donnybrook at 12:30 p.m.
According to a North Dakota Highway Patrol report, Allen C. Keely was driving his 2007 Harley-Davidson east on North Dakota Highway 50. As it began going down the curved hill leading toward the intersection with U.S. Highway 52, Keely failed to negotiate the curve.
Keely was transported by ambulance by NorthStar Criticair to Trinity Hospital in Minot.
Men arrested for fleeing scene of auto accident
Two Bismarck residents were arrested following a head-on collision with another vehicle at 31st Avenue and 11th Street Southeast in Minot at 9 a.m. on Saturday, according to a Minot Police Department press release.
According to a press release, officers responded to a report of the accident and witnesses told them that the occupants of the striking vehicle had fled the scene on foot. After a short search, officers found the suspects hiding in the trees about a mile from the crash scene. The driver of the striking vehicle, Stevirae Gross, 21, of Bismarck, was charged with leaving the scene of an injury accident, a Class C felony, as well as possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence of drugs and ingestion of a controlled substance, all Class A misdemeanors. Her passenger, Joseph Goodin, 29, of Bismarck, was arrested for two Ward County warrants.
The driver of the other vehicle was treated and released at Trinity Hospital.
