Betty Bloom, of Stanley, will celebrate her 80th birthday at an open house Sunday, Sept. 25, from 3 to 6 p.m. in American Lutheran Church in Stanley. Her daughters, Jacki Deaver, Janet Lee and Jane Brown, and their families, will host the event. She requests no gifts.
