Lisa Vining and Wayne McConnell, both of Fargo, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage. Their parents are Bev Groth and Mark Vining, both Fargo, and Landi Funke, Minot, and Robert McConnell, Bismarck.
Lisa graduated from Fargo South High School in 1999 and from Creighton University in Omaha, Neb., in 2003 with a degree in technical theatre. She is employed at Flint Communications of Fargo.
Wayne graduated from Minot High School in 1998 and from Minnesota State University Moorhead in 2004 with a degree in film production. He is employed at Media Productions of Fargo.
The wedding will be Friday, Sept. 23, in Fargo.
