Christina LoRayne Sorensen and Allen Lee Volk announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage. Their parents are Nyla and Svend Sorensen, Minot, and Terry Volk, Minot, and Linda and Terry Fredrickson, Powers Lake.
She graduated from Des Lacs-Burlington High School in 2005 and from Williston State College in 2009 and 2010. She obtained associate of arts, associate of science and associate of applied science degrees in physical therapy assistant, and associate applied science in massage therapy. She is employed by Trinity Health Outpatient Physical Therapy/Sports Medicine Clinic as a licensed physical therapist assistant in Minot.
He graduated from Minot High School in 2004 and is self-employed at Volk Honey in Minot.
They plan an Oct. 15 wedding.
