A Web site has opened to gather stories from across the country of fallen soldiers to memorialize them in a book planned for publication Memorial Day 2012.
"We Will Never Forget: Personal accounts honoring our fallen soldiers," will compile entries and submissions made by the public at (bellevue.edu/neverforget) for publication.
"Anyone across the nation (can) remember a friend or loved one by submitting a brief memoir of a fallen soldier to be included in (the book)," said Kristin Jones at Bellevue University. "I think the neatest aspect of this book is that it will be written by 'a proud nation' those people from across the country (who) submit their memoirs."
Proceeds from the book will be donated to the National Military Family Association to fund military spouse scholarships.
