Brad and Gwen Vassen of Crosby, along with Barry and Carla Miller of Noonan, and Barry Johnson of Billings, Mont., announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their children, Leah Vassen and Doug Johnson.
She graduated from Divide County High School in Crosby in 2004. She earned a bachelor's degree in radiologic technology from the University of Mary in Bismarck and a certificate in radiation therapy at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. She is employed at Sidney Health Center Cancer Care in Sidney, Mont.
He graduated from Divide County High School in 1999. He earned his associate's degree in fire technology from East Grand Forks Technical College in East Grand Forks, Minn. He is employed as a safety consultant with Nesco Resources in Stanley.
The wedding will be Saturday, Sept. 24, in Crosby.
