Allison Grace Krause and Michael Robert Barrett, both of Eden Prairie, Minn., were married Aug. 6, in Grand Forks. The ceremony took place on the campus of the University of North Dakota at the Hopper-Danley Memorial Chapel. A reception and dance followed at the North Dakota Museum of Art in Grand Forks.
Parents of the couple are Skip and Ann Krause, of Sarasota, Fla., and Minot, and Rob and Lori Barrett, of Fisher, Minn.
She graduated from the University of North Dakota in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in philosophy and honors. She is attending St. Catherine's University in St. Paul, Minn., where she is working on a master's of library and information science degree. She is employed at Epicor, in St. Louis Park, Minn.
He served nine years in the Minnesota National Guard and attended the University of North Dakota. He is attending ITT Institute in Eden Prairie, where he is studying visual communication and video game design. He is employed by Activision, in Eden Prairie.
They live in Eden Prairie.
