CALVARY ALLIANCE CHURCH TO HOST VBS ?Calvary Alliance Church, 715-20th Ave. NW, will host a vacation Bible school, "Kingdom of the Son," Monday through Friday from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Sessions, open to all kindergarten through sixth-grade children, are welcome to attend. Games, snacks, crafts and stories will be included each evening.

FIRST BAPTIST XYZ TO HOLD ANNUAL PICNIC First Baptist Church XYZ, a senior adult ministry for people in the 50-plus age group, will meet Thursday at 2 p.m. in First Baptist Church, 200-3rd St. SW, for their 23rd annual Southern fried chicken picnic. The event will be held indoors.
A musical program will be presented by the Peterson family of Alamo.
The cost is $2 for the picnic, plus people are asked to bring a salad or dessert.

DATES SET FOR VBS AT MINOT CHURCH "Inside Out and Upside Down on Main Street," a vacation Bible school, will be held Sunday through Thursday from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Southside Church of the Nazarene, 2220-24th Ave. SE. A free supper will be served those days at 5:30 p.m.
Activities will include games, crafts, music and Bible stories.

DATE SET FOR ST. ANN'S DAY ROAST BEEF DINNER IN BELCOURT The traditional St. Ann's Day roast beef meal will be served July 31, starting about noon, in St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt. Catholic Daughters of the Americas, St. Faustina, Court #2480, is coordinating the meal.
The cost will be $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and $3 for children.
