Even the Astronomer Royal will have to forgo exploring the mathematical curiosities raised in Gilbert and Sullivan's "Pirates of Penzance," at least until floodwaters in Minot recede.
The show, initially set to run Saturday through Wednesday as the second installment in the Minot State University Summer Theatre's 46th season, has been postponed, according to director Chad Gifford.
The theater itself is out of the water, but with mitigation and displacement and no definite end in sight the group felt it was better to hold off.
