Knights of Columbus Council No. 9906 of St. Leo's Church in Minot received many awards at the state convention held April 29-May 1 in Dickinson.
The council received the Outstanding State Council of the Year award for 2010-11. It also received first-place awards in the following divisions: State Deputy Award of Excellence, membership recruitment net gain, membership recruitment percentage of net gain, council yearbook and shamrock sales for Home on the Range. The council also earned the Foundation Award for Support of Seminarians and the state award for support of Special Olympics.
Corey Bohlig, Grand Knight of KC Council No. 9906, placed first in the individual membership recruitment division. He also was elected as delegate to the Supreme Convention, which will be held in August in Denver.
