Agenda: The commission will review a large residential development proposed by Robert Hale located in an area southwest of the intersection of U.S. Highway 2 & 52 and Burdick Expressway West. The commission will discuss a request to store oil-field explosives at 520-64th St. S.E. It will consider creation of 21 residential lots at Beaver Creek Estates southwest of Minot, 19 single- and multi-family lots in southeast Minot, 16 residential lots at the north edge of Minot's two-mile jurisdiction and 178 residential lots in northwest Minot. It will consider creation of five commercial lots in northwest Minot east of the U.S. Highway 83 Bypass, mini-warehouses east of U.S. Highway 83 and north of 54th Avenue Southeast, expansion of a manufactured home district between 27th Street Southeast and Valley Street and creation of three lots for future commercial development in northeast Minot. Trinity Health is requesting a variance to the required front-yard setback for expanding the Cancer Care Center. Wallwork Truck Center is seeking a subdivision plat to open a center in Minot south of U.S. Highway 2 & 52 in southeast Minot. A roofing company seeks a special use permit to continue operating as a home-based business near the fairgrounds.
