ROSS - A Minot youth was injured Saturday in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 2 near Ross.
The N.D. Highway Patrol said Monday that Tanis Orme, 15, was injured when a tractor-trailer was rear-ended by a vehicle Orme was a passenger in around 9:30 a.m.
The driver of the vehicle Orme was in, Jeffrey Ward, 32, of Minot, was cited for following too close. Water was sprayed onto Ward's windshield by the truck in wet conditions, and Ward's vehicle struck the other vehicle when it slowed to make a turn, according to the patrol.
