Hillcrest Lutheran choir to present concert in Minot

Hillcrest Lutheran Academy Concert Choir from Fergus Falls, Minn., will present a concert of primarily sacred music Friday at 7 p.m. in Our Redeemer's Lutheran Brethren Church, 700-16th Ave. SE.

The 40-member choir, which is comprised of senior high school students at the academy, is under the direction of David Strom.

No admission fee will be charged, but a freewill offering will be received.

First Baptist event to include worship, fellowship time

"Resonate," a night of worship and fellowship, will be held tonight in First Baptist Church, 200-3rd St. SW. Fellowship time will begin at 6:30 p.m., with an hour of worship to follow.

KC?Council 9906 to serve benefit breakfast Sunday

Knights of Columbus Council #9906 will serve a french toast, scrambled eggs and sausage link breakfast Palm Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., in the lower level of St. Leo's Church, 218-1st St. SE.

Proceeds of the freewill offering will benefit the Minot Area Homeless Coalition.

PrimeTimers group to meet Thursday in Minot church

The PrimeTimers Fellowship group from Our Redeemer's Church will meet Thursday at 2 p.m. in the church fellowship hall at 700-16th Ave. SE.

The program will be presented by Rollin and MaryLou Rogness.

Refreshments will be served by Group 1.

Special service planned Friday in Minot church

First Assembly of God Church, 1805-2nd St. SE, will host a special "The Portrait of Christ" service Friday at 6:30 p.m.

The service will feature music by the First Assembly Choir and an artistic presentation by artist Brennan Coombs, of Tulsa, Okla.
