Minot JROTC teams take first place in North Central Challenge

The Minot High School Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps color guard won first place for the first time ever at the North Central Challenge 2011 in Fargo on Feb. 25.

The junior varsity color guard post and retire, with team captain Teddy Holcomb, placed first. Varsity Color Guard pass and review, with captain Nathan Morgan, placed first. The Varsity Color Guard post and retire, with captain Sara Fundingsland, placed first. The varsity unarmed regulation drill, with team captain C.J. LaFrance, placed first. The varsity inspection team, with team captain Miles Way, placed first.

The girls team, with captain Kat Fischer, won first place overall in physical fitness. The junior varsity color guard pass and review, with team captain Kat Fischer, placed third overall.
