Navy Seaman Joshua Wentz, son of Patricia and Vincent Wentz, of Minot, completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.
Wentz is a 1999 graduate of Dakota Adventist Academy in Bismarck. He is a 2010 graduate of Walla Walla College, College Place, Wash., where he received a MAT degree.
