Marisa Ellen Swenson and David Asher Hecht announce their engagement. Their parents are Bruce and Jan Swenson, Minot, and Joan Hecht and Gary and Muriel Hecht, all of Norfolk, Va.
She graduated from Minot High School in 2002, from Princeton University in Princeton, N.J., in 2006 and from American University in Washington, D.C., with a law degree in 2010. She is an attorney in Washington, D.C.
He graduated from Norfolk Academy in Norfolk, Va., in 2000, from Princeton University in 2004 and is pursuing his master of business administration degree at Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia.
They plan a June 25 wedding in Princeton.
