Laura Ashley Rolan and Derek Todd Cole announce their engagement. Their parents are Richard and Debbie Rolan of Phoenix and Roger and Lisa Cole, Minot.
She graduated from Shadow Mountain High School in Phoenix in 2004 and from the University of Arizona, Tucson, in 2009 with a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She is employed by John C. Lincoln North Mountain Hospital in Phoenix.
He graduated from Minot High School in 1999. He is an assistant golf professional at Dove Valley Ranch Golf Course in Cave Creek, Ariz.
They plan a spring 2012 wedding.
