WILLISTON CHURCH SETS DATE FOR ANNUAL LUTEFISK, MEATBALL DINNER The annual lutefisk and meatball dinner at First Lutheran Church in Williston will be Feb. 26. Serving will be from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., or until servers are out of food.

Delivery service will be available until 3 p.m. and take-out services will be offered from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. For these services call the church (572-6363) on the day of the dinner.

Tickets $15 for adults, $6 for students through junior high school and $2 for preschoolers are available at the church.

WOMEN'S MINISTRY OF FIRST BAPTIST TO HOST ITS ANNUAL LADIES' RETREAT The Women's Ministry of First Baptist Church of Minot will host its annual ladies' retreat March 25-26 at the Holiday Inn-Riverside. "Going Deep, Growing Strong" will be March 25 from 7 to 9 p.m. and March 26 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The featured speaker will be Ellie Lofaro, a native of New York, who currently lives with her husband near Washington, D.C. She has done speaking engagements nationwide and has been asked back by popular demand to Minot. Lofaro has also written books and newspaper columns in addition to teaching Bible studies. Registrations are required. The retreat fee is $35 if registered by March 1 and $40 after March 1. The fee includes a catered lunch.

FIRST BAPTIST XYZ TO MEET THURSDAY First Baptist Church XYZ, a senior adult ministry for people in the 50-plus age group, will meet Thursday at 2 p.m. in First Baptist Church, 200-3rd St. SW.

A musical program will be presented by mother and daughters, Cathy, Sara and Rachel Olson. Cathy is a mother with debilitating multiple sclerosis and who has found "redeeming grace."

Refreshments will be served.

PASSION TALK SESSIONS CONTINUE "Fruitcake and Ice Cream," the fourth talk in the Passion Talk series, will be shown Friday at 7:30 p.m. in Spiritual Life Christian Fellowship Church, 400 N. Main St.

Free popcorn and drinks will be offered. Candy and soda will be available for a nominal fee.
