Jerilyn Stenberg and Mac Kersten announce their engagement. Their parents are Jerry and Terry Stroklund, Minot, and Gene and Linda Kersten, Newburg.
She graduated from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks and is a medical technologist at St. Alexius Clinic in Minot.
He graduated from North Dakota State University in Fargo and is a civil engineer for Bechtold Paving in Minot.
A private ceremony is planned May 14 in the Gol Stave Church in the Scandinavian Heritage Park in Minot, followed by a reception and dance, open to the public, in the Theater Room in the All Seasons Arena at the State Fairgrounds in Minot.
