BISMARCK - A Bismarck woman was sentenced to probation in federal court for stealing from an Indian tribal organization.
U.S. Attorney Timothy Purdon said Friday that Jane M. Martin, 60, was ordered to serve two years of probation for stealing more than $1,000 from the Turtle Mountain Housing Authority in 2005. Martin pleaded guilty to the charge on Nov. 1, 2010.
Martin was also ordered to pay $7,500 in resitution.
