John D. and Louise M. Carter of Stanley will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary at an open house Saturday, Nov. 27, from 2 to 8 p.m. in the Golden Age Club in Stanley. The couple requests no gifts.
Their children are: Kevin, Veguita, N.M.; Keith, Kenai, Alaska; Clinton, Williston; and LeAnn Kluting and Cindy Carter, both of Sultan, Wash. The couple has nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
