Kraig and Beth Brandt, Minot, announce the engagement of their daughter, Alyssa Brandt, to Ryan Caya, son of Mark and Bette Caya, Mandan.
She is employed as a school counselor for Mandan High School. He works as an instructor in the Process Plant Program at Bismarck State College.
A wedding date has been set for May 7, 2011, in Minot.
