Chasity Johnson of Lignite and Nathaniel Nelson of Donnybrook announce their engagement and forthcoming wedding. She is the daughter of Mark Johnson, New Town, and Rhonda Halvorson, Lignite. He is the son of Don and Marla Nelson, Donnybrook.
She graduated from Burke Central High School in Lignite in 2004 and obtained a bachelor of science degree in child development and family science from North Dakota State University in Fargo in 2009. She is employed by the YMCA in Shoreview, Minn., as a preschool teacher.
He graduated from Kenmare High School in 2004 and obtained a bachelor of science in accounting degree from NDSU in 2009. He is employed by Olsen Thielen & Co., Ltd in Roseville, Minn., as a tax accountant.
A Saturday, Oct. 23, wedding is planned in Our Redeemer's Church in Minot at 5 p.m. No invitations are required. A reception will follow in the Holiday Inn-Riverside in Minot.
