Kasey Wood and Jason Smestad announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage. She is the daughter of David Wood, Rolla, and the late Shirley Wood. He is the son of Don Smestad, Minot, and the late Beverly Smestad.
She graduated from Minot State University with a bachelor of science degree in nursing in 2008. She is employed by Trinity Hospital in Minot.
He graduated from Minot High School in 2002 and is employed by Main & Holmes Electric, Minot.
The wedding will be Saturday, Aug. 21, at 2 p.m. in the Scandinavian Park, Minot. The reception will be in the Holiday Inn Riverside, Minot, with a social hour at 4 p.m. and dinner at 6 p.m. A dance will follow the dinner. Invitations are not required.
