Bill and Roberta Mathiason of St. John announce the engagement of their daughter, Megan Marie Mathiason, to Timothy George Allard, son of Larry and Dawn Allard, Bottineau.
She graduated from St. John High School and studied at North Dakota State University in Fargo and Valley City State University in Valley City, where she received her degrees in elementary education and childhood development. She teaches fifth grade at Rolette Public School.
He graduated from Bottineau High School and studied at North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton. He is employed with Electric Solutions in Bottineau as a journeyman electrician.
A wedding is planned for Saturday, Aug. 28, in Bottineau. After the wedding the couple will reside in the Bottineau area.
