Louise Schneiderman's name is well know as a longtime exhibitor of baked goods, canning and crocheted items at the North Dakota State Fair in Minot.
When asked how many year's she entered items at the State Fair, she said, "I don't even know."
Schneiderman, who lives near Bottineau, said she also enters the Bottineau County Fair in Bottineau every year.
At this year's State Fair, Schneiderman's entries include preserves, candy, bread, cookies, quick bread, and canned fruit, vegetables and meat. She's entered crocheted items in past fairs.
She said she's made three trips to the fair this year first to enter her items, then to compete in the bread contest and also the pie contest.
Schneiderman was one of the top pie bakers in the First Lady's Pie Contest held the second day of the fair. Her lemon pie took third place. She said it was the first time she entered that contest.
Schneiderman said she does a lot of baking and "it's fun," to enter the State Fair each year.
