Larry and Bonnie Thronson of Powers Lake will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at an open house Saturday, July 31, from 2 to 5 p.m. in Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Powers Lake. Their children and grandchildren will host the event.
Their sons are Todd, Bismarck; Jay, Manhattan, Mont.; and Chad, Powers Lake. The couple has 11 grandchildren.
Bonnie Sorensen and Larry Thronson were married in 1960 in Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Powers Lake. He was a farmer and rancher. She was employed at Market Foods in Stanley.
