MINOT AIR FORCE BASE An open house will be held at Minot Air Force Base this year but there will not be an air show. The open house is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 11.
The open house will feature displays and demonstrations of the base's missions and many of the skills and services that support the missions of both the 5th Bomb Wing and the 91st Missile Wing. It will also include a 9-11 remembrance ceremony for the public to view.
There will be no fly-in air show this year. The next air show is set for 2012.
