Courtney Witteman and Cody Johnson of Bismarck announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage. Their parents are Tom and Diane Witteman, Mohall, and Gary and Janice Johnson, Cooperstown.
She graduated from Williston State College and from Minot State University-Bottineau with an associate's degree in nursing. She is employed as a registered nurse at St. Alexius Medical Center in Bismarck.
He graduated from Lake Region State College in Devils Lake and from Minot State University in Minot with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. He is employed by the Metro Area Narcotics Task Force in Bismarck.
The wedding will be Saturday, July 31, at 2 p.m. in the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit in Bismarck. A reception will be at 6 p.m. in the Seven Seas in Mandan with a dance at 8:30 p.m. No invitations are required for the ceremony or for the dance.
