Kelly Nekola and Ryan Clauson announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage. Their parents are George and Ruby Nekola, Lincoln, Neb., and Miles and Peggy Clauson, Minot.
She graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in kinesiology and from Villanova University in Villanova, Pa., with a bachelor's degree in nursing.
He graduated from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine in Grand Forks with a doctor of medicine degree. He is a urology resident at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
They will be married in a private ceremony Saturday, July 17, in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. A reception for the couple will be held Saturday, Sept. 4, in Lincoln.
