TOWNER Victor Rodell Jones, 80, Towner, died Monday, April 26, 2010, in a Minot hospital.
He was born July 29, 1929, to James and Anna Jones near Towner. He was inducted into the Army on Oct. 22, 1952, and served in the Korean War. He was discharged Sept. 22, 1954. Following his discharge, he completed eight years of service in the Army Reserve. He married Delores Rice on Nov. 14, 1955, in Upham.
Survivors: sons, Lyle, Rugby, Leslie, Bismarck, Lloyd, Towner; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Johnny, Las Vegas; sisters, Delores Jaeger and Beverly Lynch, both Towner.
