Elizabeth Anne Lagasse, 87, of Rolette, died on Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009, at a Rugby hospital.

Elizabeth was born on May 26, 1922, in rural Knox, to Andrew and Angeliane (Kupser) Mitzel. She married Henry Lagasse on May 11, 1944, in Knox.

Survivors: sons, James, St. Petersburg, Fla., Rodney, Rapid City, S.D., Dennis, Bottineau, Todd, Devils Lake, and Joseph, Mandan; daughters: Linda Lehnertz, Altura, Minn., Debra, Waseca, Minn., Denise, Rolette, and Joyce Kortuem, St. Michaels, Minn.; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Phyllis Vollan, Seattle.

Funeral: Monday, 10:30 a.m., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Rolette.

Burial: Sacred Heart Cemetery, rural Rolette.

Visitation: Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sunday, 5 p.m.-7 p.m., and Monday one hour prior to the funeral Mass.

Prayer service: Sunday, 7 p.m., at the church.
