Dec. 27, 1923 -Dec. 6, 2009STARKWEATHER Cleo Doraine Havlis, 85, Dilworth, Minn., formerly of Starkweather, Parshall and Kenmare, died Sunday, Dec. 6, 2009, in an assisted living center in Dilworth.
She was born Dec. 27, 1923, to Elmer and Genevieve Hemmingson in Corinth. She married Johnnie Havlis on Oct. 25, 1947, in Parshall.
Survivors: daughters, Susan Zimmel, Dilworth, Jane VanHavermaet, Hawley, Minn.; six grandchildren; one great-grandson; sister, Verla Iwen, Great Falls, Mont.
Prayer service and visitation: Prayer service today, 7:30 p.m., visitation today, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., both in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, Minn.
Memorial services: Wednesday, 11 a.m., in St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church, Dilworth, and Thursday, 1 p.m., in Assumption Catholic Church, Starkweather.
Burial: Starkweather Catholic Cemetery, Starkweather.
