The KMSU Auction will be air on Channel 19 at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 3, with a pre-show starting at 5 p.m. The auction will also be live in the Minot State University Beaver Dam.

According to a press release, the items up for auction include a 1995 Ford Contour with a four-cylinder engine, power windows and locks, cruise and tilt. The Contour is black and features new tires and a well-maintained gray interior. Other items were donated by other Minot businesses and contributors.

Cartiva donated the car and is a sponsor of the auction.

The auction brought in $15,000 last year for the university's broadcasting program. This year's goal is to raise money for Media Ink, departmental equipment, and MSU broadcasting scholarships. Ten percent of the earnings are donated to a charitable cause. This year the students have decided to donate that 10 percent to Lynne Rumney, the MSU Honors Program director, who is undergoing cancer treatment.
