DICKINSON - Minot State University senior offensive lineman Brian Rohles was named the Dakota Athletic Conference Most Valuable Senior as well as first team All-DAC.

Rohles, a 6-foot-4, 275-pound offensive lineman from Manteca, Calif., was one of six MSU players to earn first-team consideration. He was joined by George Duenas and Bart Archdekin, both at-large bids, from the Beavers' offensive line, and junior receiver Johnny Lester on offense. Lineman Gino Maxi and linebacker Martel Pope were chosen on the defensive side of the ball.

The Beavers, co-conference champions, had a total of 10 players on the first and second teams. Co-champ Dickinson State had 14 players, including former Rugby standout John Tuchscherer on second team defense, while Black Hills State landed 12 players on the two teams.

Making the second team for MSU were: Jon Meier, senior quarterback from Regent; Nico Youngren, freshman running back from Gig Harbour, Wash.; Tommy Weidler, junior linebacker from Velva; and Jeremy Kessler, senior defensive back from Puyallup, Wash.
