WILLISTON Harold Charles DeTienne, 83, Billings, Mont., formerly of rural Bainville, Mont., died Friday, Nov. 6, 2009, in a Billings nursing home.
He was born Feb. 24, 1926, to Joseph and Bertha DeTienne north of Bainville. He joined the Navy in 1944 and served in the Pacific Theater of Operations during World War II. He was discharged in 1946.
Survivors: brothers, Clarence, of Bainville and Archie, West Fargo.
Funeral: Monday, 2 p.m., Everson Funeral Home, Williston.
Burial: Bainville Cemetery about 2 to 2:30 p.m. MST.
Visitation: Today, 1 to 5 p.m., and Monday, 9 a.m. to service time, in the funeral home.
