Ruby Bauer and James Schlichting were married Oct. 30, 1959, in Max. Their children are Micheal Schlichting, Wildomar, Calif.; Laurie Fliginger, Paul Schlichting and David Schlichting, all Garrison; and Janet Bergquist, Wilton. They have nine grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
