Bottineau County Concert Association sets new season

BOTTINEAU -- The Bottineau County Concert Association held its "kick off" meeting Sept. 9 to make plans for its membership drive. All upcoming concerts are in the Holwell Auditorium in Bottineau.

Concerts for the 2009-10 season include The Barbery Coast Dixieland Band, presenting a complete stage show Oct. 3 at 7:30 p.m.

Robert Robinson, a spiritual/gospel tenor, founded the Community Gospel Choir in the Twin Cities. He has entertained audiences from Carnegie Hall to South Korea, and also performed for the Tony Award winning Lorie Line's Christmas Tour and PBS. His concert is set for Nov. 8 at 7:30 p.m.

The Chatterton Duo featuring flute and piano. Linda Chatterton blends technical ability with a gift for music. She has performed on tours throughout the United States, Germany and the United Kingdom. Her concert is set for 2:30 p.m. March 14.

Home Free is an a cappella concert, a quartet performing a perfect fusion of comedy and four-part harmony. They are showcasing a new, animated and electrifying experience that leaves audiences breathless. Their concert is May 8 at 7:30 p.m.

Admission is by season membership only. Prices range from $35 for adults, $10 for students, $70 for families and $75 for patron support. Ticketholders may also attend concerts in Rugby. For more information, contact Alice Renick at 228-2083.
