Gene and Dee Spichke will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at an open house Sunday, Sept. 13, from 12:30 to 4 p.m. in Liberty Baptist Church Fellowship Hall in Kief. Their church family from Liberty Baptist Church will host the event.
Gene Spichke and Dee Plesuk were married Sept. 6, 1959, in Minot. They farmed near Kief until they retired, and he is also a volunteer for Farm Rescue. They have a daughter, Carrie, Auburn, Wash.; and a son, Todd, Plymouth, Minn.; and four grandchildren.
