Galen Jacobson and Alice Burgemeister were married Aug. 28, 1944, in Drake. He was a construction laborer and foreman before retiring. They have five children, Duane Jacobson, Leeds; James Jacobson, Great Falls, Mont.; Judith Isaak, of Drake; Keith Jacobson, West Fargo; and Michael "Mickey" Fonder of Reynolds. They have nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
