Ben Watkins allowed four hits and two runs, while batting 2 for 4 with a double, triple and four runs batted in as LaMoure defeated Enderlin 11-2 to win its second American Legion Baseball Class B State Championship in three years Sunday at Goldmann Field in Beulah.
LaMoure, which won the state title in 2007, suffered its first loss of the tournament to Enderlin on Saturday, but was in complete control of Sunday's championship game.
After falling behind 1-0 in the first inning, LaMoure scored one run in the second and four runs in the third before blowing open the game with a six-run fourth.
Ben Holen and Brett Hample both finished 2 for 4 for LaMoure, which outhit Enderlin 9-4.
Kyle Hamre (2 for 3) was the only player to record multiple hits for Enderlin, which defeated Casselton 7-5 in a championship play-in game 7-5 hours before losing to LaMoure.
Taran Langland earned the win on the hill for Enderlin against Casselton, while Sam Schumacher was handed the loss.
