FARGO The memorial service was Tuesday in Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, for Walter H. Willis, 62, Audubon, Minn., formerly of Fargo and Souris, who died Friday, July 3, 2009, in a Detroit Lakes, Minn., hospital.
He was born July 10, 1946, to Walter and Evelyn Willis in Bottineau. He served with the Marines in Vietnam. He married Dianne Charbonneau Nov. 6, 1970, in Hallock, Minn.
Survivors: wife; sons, Shane, Grand Forks, Tyson, Fargo; stepsons, Keith Charbonneau, Dunseith, Richard Charbonneau, West Fargo; stepdaughter, Shannon Charbonneau, Fargo; several grandchildren; brothers, Ron and Jerry, both Topeka, Kan., Doyle of Mitchell, S.D., Jim, Souris.
