ROLLA Palmer Tilford Larson, 81, Rolette and Rolla, died Wednesday, July 1, 2009, in a Rolette nursing home.

He was born Feb. 13, 1928, to Helmer and Ida Larson in Twin Valley, Minn. He married Selena Boyer.

Survivors: sons, Preston, Lakeville, Minn., Rodney, Rapid City, S.D., Richard, Rolette, Blaine "Scott," and Lindsay, Belcourt, Brian, Grand Forks; daughter, Pamela "Susie" Larson, Belcourt; six grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; one great-grandson; one stepgreat-granddaughter; sisters, Laura Warnsholz, Austin, Minn., Lillian Newman, of Fort Francis, Ontario, Marilyn Wentz, Fargo.

Funeral: Tuesday, 11 a.m., Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Rolla.

Visitation: Two hours prior to the funeral in the church.
