JOYCE A. "TUDY" MATTE, 78, Bowbells, died Tuesday, June 30, 2009, in a Minot hospital. Memorial service Tuesday, July 7, at 11 a.m. at United Methodist Church, Bowbells. Memorials are preferred to the Gordon B. Olson Scholarship Fund at Minot State University, Bethel Free Lutheran Church, Minot Lions Club or the Gordon B. Olson Library, all Minot.

DONALD BERDAHL, 88, Minot, died Tuesday in a Minot hospital. Funeral Friday, 11 a.m., First Lutheran Church, Minot. Visitation today, 2 to 7 p.m., Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.

JEFFREY H. PLUM, 47, Maddock, died Tuesday in a Fargo hospital. Funeral Friday, 2 p.m., North Viking Lutheran Church, Maddock. Visitation today, 4 to 7 p.m., Nelson Funeral Home, Maddock.

MELVEY ROEN, 91, Willow City, died Tuesday in a Minot hospital. Funeral Monday, 10 a.m., First Lutheran Church, Willow City. Visitation Sunday, 1 to 7 p.m., Nero Funeral Home, Bottineau.

KERRY R. GEORGESON, 54, of Harvey, died Wednesday in his home. Graveside service Friday, 10 a.m., Rosehill Cemetery, Esmond. There will be no visitation. (Nelson Funeral Home, Maddock)

GARY MCGARRY, 72, Minot, died Tuesday in a Minot nursing home. Funeral July 10, 11 a.m., Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Minot. Visitation July 9, 2 to 7 p.m., Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot, and Saturday, July 11, 10 a.m. to noon, Fulkerson Funeral Home, Watford City, with burial to follow in Shafer Cemetery, rural Watford City.
