CROSBY - The body of a man staying in Crosby was found by law enforcement authorities Sunday evening.

A press release from the Divide County Sheriff's Office stated a call was received from a concerned family member of Bruce Haiberg, who had not returned to the Crosby residence he was staying at. A search for Haiberg was conducted in the Crosby area, and at approximately 9:20 p.m. he was found deceased in a remote area north of Crosby by a U.S. Border Patrol agent.

Autopsy results are pending, but foul play is not suspected.
