DUNSEITH Andrew C. LaVallie, 68, Dunseith, died Friday, May 29, 2009, in a Fargo hospital.

He was born May 25, 1941, to John and Cecelia LaVallie in Belcourt. He entered the Army Sept. 16, 1964, and served in Vietnam. He was discharged Aug. 1, 1966. He married Carol Parisien Nov. 6, 1970, in Belcourt.

Survivors: wife; sons, A.J. and Edward, both Belcourt, Derek, Dunseith; four grandchildren; brothers, Peter, Dunseith, Earl, Center, Dennis and Dallas, both Dunseith, Leo, Minot; sisters, Ida Nadeau and Beverly Anderson, both Dunseith.

Funeral: Friday, 10 a.m., St. Michael Catholic Church, Dunseith.

Burial: St. Anthony's Cemetery, rural Dunseith.

Wake: Today, 4 p.m., in the church.
