McCLUSKY Cecil Erdmann, 91, Denhoff, died Thursday, May 14, 2009, in a Turtle Lake hospital.

He was born Aug. 24, 1917, to Reinhardt and Mary Erdmann near Lincoln Valley. He entered the Army in October 1942 and served in the Southern Philippines during World War II. He was discharged in February 1946. He married Ida Jordan April 30, 1946, in McClusky.

Survivors: wife; sons, Michael, Turtle Lake, Richard, of Baldwin, Jerome, McIntosh, Minn., Steven, McClusky, William, Bismarck; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Armin, McClusky.

Funeral: Monday, 10:30 a.m., Holy Family Catholic Church, McClusky.

Burial: Monday, 2 p.m., North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan.

Rosary service: Today, 7 p.m., in the church.

Visitation: Today, 2 to 6 p.m., Hertz Funeral Home, McClusky.
