WILLISTON There's a new North Dakota products store in Williston.
The store is located in the Williston Convention and Visitors Bureau's new Visitor Center at 212 Airport Road. The center opened in October and this will be the first season of operation for the N.D. products store.
Bobbi Clarke, CVB assistant director who runs the N.D. products store, said the store has items including Williston memorabilia such as T-shirts, sweatshirts and caps and numerous N.D. food products including jams and jellies, syrups, gift packs and other items.
Amy Krueger, executive director of the Williston CVB, said the Visitor Center is in a building formerly located at Fort Buford. Fort Buford is a state historic site southwest of Williston. The building was renovated and provides more space for the CVB than at its previous facility.
The Williston CVB has a new Web site that went online last Friday and from which people can order gift store products and obtain other information as well. The new Web site is (www.visitwilliston.com) and the CVB e-mail is cvbsales@ci.williston.nd.us.
Starting Memorial Day weekend the store hours will be Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m.
The CVB office hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and the store is available to customers now.
