Anhydrous safety seminar to be held on March 31

The North Dakota Department of Agriculture and the North Dakota Agricultural Association are sponsoring the 2009 Anhydrous Ammonia Safety Training and Fertilizer Issues Seminars that will take place across the state March 30-31. In Minot, the seminar will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on March 31 at the Holiday Inn-Riverside.

Topics to be discussed include anhydrous ammonia laws and regulations, safe operating practices and risk management plans for facilities among others.

Registration fee is $20 for NDAA members and $40 for non-members. For more information or to preregister, contact the NDDA office at 282-9432.
